From K–12 hallways to university archives, alumni centers, and local history museums, see how institutions use TouchYearbook to preserve their stories and bring people together around them.
Find Your Use Case
Nine ways schools and organizations put their yearbook history to work.
K–12 Digital Yearbooks
Turn the yearbooks sitting in a storage closet into a living archive. Students, staff, and families can browse every edition your school has ever published on a lobby touchscreen or from any device at home.
- Every yearbook edition scanned and searchable by name, club, or team
- Lobby touchscreen plus a web viewer for families at home
- Access controls so you decide what is public and what stays private
- New editions added each year in minutes
Gives students a real connection to the people who walked the same halls before them.
University Archives
Bring a century of university yearbooks into a single searchable archive organized by year, class, major, club, and name, open to students, faculty, researchers, and alumni worldwide.
- Archival-grade scanning of fragile and oversized volumes
- Full-text OCR search across every page and caption
- Metadata tagging that fits your library and archive workflows
- Secure cloud hosting with role-based access for staff
Keeps rare volumes safe on the shelf while making their contents more accessible than ever.
Alumni Centers
Welcome returning graduates with an interactive yearbook kiosk where they can find themselves, their friends, and favorite teachers in seconds. It becomes the most visited spot in the building.
- Commercial-grade touchscreen kiosk branded with your school colors
- Instant name search across decades of yearbooks
- Web link to share with alumni through newsletters and email
- Usage insights showing which classes and years get the most views
Sparks conversations that turn casual visitors into engaged, connected alumni.
Donor Recognition + Yearbooks
Pair donor recognition with yearbook history. Show supporters alongside the school memories their generosity helps preserve, and give development teams a meaningful way to say thank you.
- Donor listings linked to the donor’s own yearbook pages
- Giving societies and campaign recognition that update without reprinting plaques
- Displays for lobbies, advancement offices, and events
- Easy updates as new gifts arrive
Connects giving to the personal memories that inspire it.
Athletic Yearbook Supplements
Complement your athletic hall of fame with yearbook-sourced team photos, rosters, and season recaps, so every team gets its place in school history, not just the championship years.
- Team photos and rosters pulled from every yearbook
- Browse by sport, season, or athlete name
- Pairs naturally with trophy cases and hall of fame walls
- Great for recruiting visits and senior nights
Honors every athlete and team, not just the ones on the banners.
Class Reunion Displays
Set up interactive yearbook stations at reunions and homecoming so attendees can relive their school days, find old friends, and share stories. It's an instant icebreaker.
- Portable display setups for events and homecoming weekends
- Quick filters to jump straight to a graduating class
- Private web links that attendees can revisit after the event
- Works alongside photo booths and memory walls
Turns a reunion into a shared trip down memory lane.
Library & Media Center Kiosks
Place a yearbook kiosk in your library or media center where students can explore school history for research projects, heritage months, and cultural awareness lessons.
- Yearbooks as primary sources for history and social studies
- Accessible design that meets WCAG 2.1 AA
- Search by decade, event, or topic for class projects
- Protects original volumes from wear and loss
Makes the library the home of your school’s story.

Create an interactive senior memory wall that brings together four years of yearbook content, including photos, awards, activities, and milestones, for each graduating class.
- Four years of each senior’s yearbook appearances in one place
- Showcases for awards, clubs, and milestones
- Displays for graduation, prom, and senior nights

Use Case FAQ
Yes. Most schools start with one goal, such as an alumni center kiosk, and then use the same library for reunions, the school library, athletics, and senior celebrations. Your yearbooks are digitized once and can be shown in as many places as you like.
You can start either way. Many schools launch a web-based yearbook library first and add a lobby or library touchscreen later. Both use the same content, so nothing needs to be redone.
Our digitization process is designed for archival materials, including fragile, oversized, and early-1900s volumes. Originals are handled with care and returned to you, and the digital copies protect them from further wear.
Absolutely. You can make a collection public, password-protected, or limited to signed-in users, and you can set different rules for different years or volumes.
